Chapter Five

Mike decided to move to Ohio to be near me. I was selling my home in a rural town and moving close to Columbus. He sold his cute little house and moved to a small town about 45 minutes away from my new apartment.

At first, I was over the moon. It felt like a dream that this man I loved so much uprooted his whole life and moved to be close to me. We spent every weekend together, sometimes at my place and other times at his. I also went to visit Mike every Wednesday for a few hours before he went to work.
